Dr Noori Husain
Welcome to the Ethnic Equestrian homepage.
My name is Noori, I am a Psychiatry resident doctor working in London, with a passion for horses and riding.
I am the founder of the group Muslim Horse Girls.
My aims are to:
- Share awareness of how horses and riding can have amazing benefits for our physical and mental health
- Share my own experiences of riding around the world and in the UK
- Create spaces for Muslim women to come together to go on riding trips and attend events
- Improve links between the NHS and horse riding opportunities particularly for young people

Muslim Horse Girls

I have always attended horse riding events solo and wanted to create a community so that we could go together, feel welcome and enjoy the blessing of horses.
This is a community where you can make friends with others nearby who are interested in horses.
I also organise group rides and attending horse shows together.
I hope to grow more opportunities for Muslim women to be part of the equestrian world.
